La Wanda Moorer has built a three decade career helping organizations address complex business challenges through people focused human resources strategies. Her long experience at Lockheed Martin spans HR compliance, employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and strategic workforce planning. Moorer works closely with executives, managers, employees, legal and ethics teams, and other stakeholders to develop practical solutions that align with business goals.

During her tenure at Lockheed Martin, Ms. Moorer has held leadership responsibilities across several divisions and enterprise wide groups. She has directed HR teams that support major operations in the civil, defense and intelligence, rotary and mission systems, space, and aeronautics divisions. Her leadership has involved thousands of employees, guiding large scale change, developing executive talent, coaching leaders, managing workforce transitions, and ensuring that the company has the capabilities needed to meet evolving business demands.

Her professional interests include mentoring, influential leadership, HR strategy, cross functional collaboration, facilitation, and helping people build successful careers within large corporations. Ms. Moorer also emphasizes the importance of balancing all perspectives when supporting employees and customers. Her recognitions include graduation from Lockheed Martin’s Human Resources Leadership Development Program and an Evening of Excellence Award for Leadership.

Outside of her professional pursuits, La Wanda Moorer enjoys traveling to sunny destinations—especially the Caribbean—and indulging in singing and cooking. She frequently prepares Mexican, Italian, and soul food dishes. A Peloton enthusiast, she participates in cycling, running, strength training, and meditation classes.
